Equip your staff with grit.

Invest in your relationship with your team

Educators, first responders, health care workers, police officers, and other human services providers have a tendency to put others first, but in doing so, we can sometimes neglect our own wellness. Let me help you equip your staff with resilience-building strategies to help them continue doing the work they love.

Empowering Insight Heart to Heart fosters resilience, compassion, and trauma-informed knowledge. We assist organizations in the Hudson Valley, New York State, Connecticut, New Jersey, and beyond in adopting trauma-informed practices, enabling staff to thrive both personally and professionally.

Empowering Insight Heart to Heart, based in the Hudson Valley, envisions a community where trauma-informed approaches empower organizations and individuals to navigate challenges with resilience and sustain their passion for impactful work.

What we’re doing

  • Capacity means knowing what emotional trauma is, and how it differs from other types of trauma. With this knowledge, we can recognize its impact and prevalence, develop skills to build preventative measures, and implement effective interventions.

  • By developing our ability to recover from difficulties and adapt to change, we can thrive in the face of adversity. With physical, mental, and emotional strength, we can bounce back stronger from the challenges of working with others.

  • Revitalizing our enthusiasm for what we do requires us to reconnect with the purpose behind that work. Resilience empowers us to not lose the passion for what led us to our calling in the first place.

“I have had the pleasure to work closely with Amy since 2013.  Amy consistently shares her expertise with dignity and understanding. Amy always provides a plethora of knowledge to her clients, which in turn enhances her delivery of services. Amy is always flexible with her approach towards people finding ways to provide support, from minor problems to serious trauma. During my years on Amy’s team, she employed the most compassionate care to her students, their caregivers, and co-workers. Amy is a true asset to any therapy team always providing services without judgment.”
