Amy Pittari is an LCSW-R with over 30 years experience in the field of social work. She has spent most of her career delivering evidence-based social work practice and developing curriculum for social emotional learning in the K-12 public education sector in Newburgh, New York. She routinely leads professional development for colleges and school districts on best practices for school mental health services, trauma, culture and climate, and social emotional learning.

Ms. Pittari is also an adjunct professor in the School of Social and Behavioral Sciences at Marist College in Poughkeepsie, where she has taught classes on diversity, trauma-informed social work practice, and human behavior. Additionally, Ms. Pittari offers individual, group and family therapy as a private practitioner, and she mentors new social workers entering the field in Orange County, Dutchess County, and Rockland County, New York.
