Supporting schools in delivering efficient mental health support is essential to fostering a positive learning environment and ensuring student well-being. By providing schools with the necessary resources, training and tools, we can help educators to identify and address concerns early, reducing the stigma surrounding mental health and promoting resilience among students.
Empowering Insight Heart to Heart works with school districts to evaluate mental health supports and social emotional learning (SEL) programs, interventions, and resources provided within the school setting to support students’ mental and emotional well being. She can support your pupil personnel staff (PPS) in the efficient delivery of holistic and proactive approaches to nurturing students’ emotional and social development within the school environment. These services include:
-
We work with districts to evaluate their current SEL curriculum, develop new initiatives to meet district goals, and identify potential grant and funding sources.
-
We support educators and students with whole-school approaches to student wellness, including culture and climate, conflict resolution, bullying prevention, emotional regulation, and de-escalation.
-
By offering supervision to mental health providers in schools, we assist districts to comply with educational law requirements. LCSW supervision can enable districts to bill Medicaid for mandated services.
-
Through informative workshops and small-group discussions, we empower parents with tools to help them navigate the challenges of raising kids today, including social media and technology use, setting boundaries at home, improving communication in the family, and balancing the social and academic demands of school.
